Brockappella

Formerly known as the Brockton High School Jazz Choir, Brockappella is the premier vocal a cappella ensemble at BHS. This auditioned ensemble consists of 24 of the best singers from Concert Choir who perform a variety of styles of music - including classical, doo-wop, jazz, pop, and musical theatre. Brockappella rehearses on Monday afternoons from 2:15 - 3:45pm and performs at various events throughout the community. Past appearances have included the Downtown Brockton Holiday Parade, Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, Santa Hat Challenge, the Conley Funeral Home Holiday Remembrance Service, the 2014 Foreginer/Styx Concert at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston. In addition, this ensemble performs community service such as singing at local nursing homes and the holiday party of the Twentieth Century Catholic Club.
